Hello, readers! Welcome to Adoption Choices of Oklahoma. We are so excited to have you. Thank you so much for visiting! We know it’s been awhile since our last post, but rest assured: that’s about to change! We are revamping our blog.
As Adoption Choices’ Writing Director, I’m honored to be on board and help breathe new life into the blog, and bring you fresh content each week. To begin, here is what you can expect moving forward.
Purpose of the Blog
Each week, this blog will provide birth mothers and adoptive parents, and anyone else considering adoption, with information and support throughout your adoption journey. Some of the topics to be featured include, but are not limited to: types of adoption, parenting tips, how to talk to your child or family members about adoption, and many more.
To stay up-to-date, be sure to sign up with your email to receive the latest blog entries.
Adoption Choices of Oklahoma
As an agency, Adoption Choices of Oklahoma supports the concept of open adoption. However, we understand that individuals may desire varying levels of openness, and are here to help expectant families determine what would best match their family narrative. Adoption Choices of Oklahoma will remain flexible to satisfy the requests and needs of all parties. We understand that adoption is different for everyone, and look forward to journeying with you and helping you grow your family.
If you ever have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to hear from you!
Support Adoption Choices
Adoption Choices, Inc. is partnering with Crowdrise, a fundraising website for nonprofits, to help our adoptive parents and birth parents with much needed financial assistance. We understand that expenses keep clients from fulfilling their dreams. Both with birth parents making a plan for adoption, and with adoptive parents growing their family. It is our mission to provide financial assistance through grants and scholarships, awarded annually in November, in honor of National Adoption Month. Funds assist adoptive parents with matching and placements, adoption finalization and helping birth mothers improve their lives through higher education — and much more.
However, we can’t do it alone. Please read up on our programs and donate money where you are able. Your donation will make a huge impact.
