A Father’s Thoughts: A Letter from a Birth Father
Dear Baby,
It was very hard for me to admit that I could not provide you with what you needed to thrive when you were born, even though your mother and I were no longer together. Therefore, agreeing to place you for adoption was my way of making sure you were cared for and my way of saying I love you. I hope that your adoptive family provides you with a stable life and teaches you everything you need to know about this world. May you grow to be a strong and confident person who never lets anyone get in their way.
While I may not be able to show it, I think of you every single day and wish you the best in life. Maybe one day we can meet in person, and I can hear about all you have achieved.
Love,
Your Birth Father
